 Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County, Texas, Inc. is a non-profit Christian ministry that provides affordable home ownership opportunities.

It is a “hand up, not a hand out” organization.  Homeowner families are selected on the basis of need, willingness to work on their own home, ability to make a small down payment for taxes and insurance, and ability to repay Habitat the cost for all materials in their home.

This is done with a 20 year no-interest mortgage.   Habitat makes no profit and uses the monthly mortgage payments to build more homes.
