About Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County

Signs of spring will emerge soon and we are gearing up for the 2010 Habitat
for Humanity construction season.  With spring, we look for signs of renewal
and hope -- wanting to be part of creating positive change, and in doing so, hoping to
be changed.

What drew me to Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County is likely the same
thing that drew you today, and draws donors and volunteers to Habitat each year.
It is the clarity of what our program achieves in the community and the knowledge
that a simple investment in housing is leveraged to help families and communities
for years to come.

With your support, when we help even one family achieve homeownership, we know for sure that we have had an
impact on their helath and well-being that inclues, but goes far beyond, the safety and comfort provided by the
shelter of a house.  The transformation that we ignite together, whether through a single home, or through a multitude
of homes, is profound and enduring; it gives each of us hope that our contribution is truly making a difference.

To our donors and volunteers who have supported the success of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County in 2009,
thank you for investing in hope and providing low-income families with opportunities they might not otherwise have had.
To those of you new to Habitat this year, I invite you to spring in, get involved, and discover what doors you can help
open in your own community and participate in what will surely be a life-changing experience.
