Habitat
for Humanity of Williamson
County’s goal is to
provide our partner families
with both an
affordable
home and the
tools they will need
to succeed in owning
their own home. Each partner
family buys their new home from Habitat with
a zero-interest home loan. 
Application Process:
Habitat
for Humanity of Williamson
County has an annual
open
application period. Habitat Home Application meetings
will
be held
in
various locations
throughout the community.
To
receive an
application, you must attend an
application meeting.
Habitat Home Application Meetings
If you are interested in owning your own
home, we invite you to learn about Habitat.
Homes through a two hour seminar held twice each year. Attendance at the
meeting is REQUIRED to
receive an application
for a Williamson County
Habitat home. The next seminar will be in fall 2008. Call the administrative
office or continue to check this website for the specific date and times.
Initial Criteria to be selected as a
Habitat partner family include:
- A need for
adequate housing
- Complete up to
500 volunteer hours with Habitat after selection
- The ability to
make a monthly mortgage payment
- A current address
in Williamson County and living or working in the county for the last
year
- Meet income
limits, based on famiily size and 2008 HUD guidelines ($14,950 -
$46,950)
